Haiti 2020 Service Trip Application

It's that time of year again! For the past three years Jake and I have been taking teams on service trips to Haiti. These teams conduct mobile medical clinics where we provide care and community health education. The community health education is an ever evolving project developed by Dr. Rachel Thomas and RN, Stephanie Glasgow. Trip Volunteers are a blend of health care providers (MD's, PA's, RN's, Paramedics) and support staff. The support staff roles include patient intake, vitals and supporting the pharmacy and clinic flow. No previous medical experience is required to join as support staff.

Organizing a trip for 20-25 individuals to provide healthcare in a rural setting, in a developing country, as you can imagine has a lot of moving parts. Throughout this year, leading up to the trips, we will have trainings and opportunities to be a part of packing and prepping so you can see and experience first hand all that goes into making these trips a success!

Every year we return from Haiti in January/February and we have about one month until we start planning the next year's trip. Each year it gets easier and easier and we have more and more help thanks to our veteran volunteers. Doing work like this is a journey, not a destination. This work is slow and take times to create impact. We are so incredibly grateful for those that spend their time serving the people of Haiti and helping Flourish build relationships with the communities. Little by little, together.

2020 Haiti Trip Information

DATES Team 1: January 25th-February 2nd or Team 2: February 1st-February 9th COST $2600 (includes airfare, all meals and accommodations) Applications due May 15th, 2019 $250 deposit due by May 31st, 2019
